Description
Anatomical study of the human gravid uterus in the ninth month of pregnancy. The uterus in posterior view and dissected with part of the uterine wall removed, showing the foetus in the womb.

William Hunter (1718-1783) was a British physician, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1767.
