Full-length group portrait taken from a high vantage looking down showing Mstislav Keldysh, Howard Florey and Ashley Miles being interviewed by the press. Taken on the occasion the Royal Society visited the USSR Academy of Sciences, October 1965.
Mstislav Keldysh (1911-1978) was a Russian mathematician, he was President of the USSR Academy of Sciences from 1961-1975.
Howard Walter Florey (1898-1968) was an Australian pathologist, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1941 and served as President from 1960-1965.
Arnold Ashley Miles (1904-1988) was a British microbiologist, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1961 and was on the Council from 1963-1968.
Mstislav Keldysh (1911-1978) was a Russian mathematician, he was President of the USSR Academy of Sciences from 1961-1975.
