Inscribed on the reverse ‘FLEMING, SIR ALEXANDER F.R.S. 1943 photograph received from Biog. Mem 5.8.1958.’ Three stamps on the reverse read ‘PHOTOGRAPHY HERBERT de GRAY LTD. NINETY-FIVE MOUNT STREET LONDON, W.1 GROSVENOR 2588. We would appreciate in the case of publication, that you mention a study by Herbert de Gray.’
