Inscribed ‘Engraved by B. Holl. REVD. WILLIAM HOLWELL CARR. From the Original Picture by Jackson, in the National Gallery No.108. Jones & Co. Temple of the Muses Finsbury Square, London’ and pencilled ‘1806’.
William Holwell Carr was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1806.
