    Head and shoulders portrait of Henry Fiennes Pelham Clinton, 2nd Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyme facing forward and looking off to the right as viewed. He wears wig with queue and is wearing his honours badge on the left hand breast of his jacket. In an oval frame.

    Henry Fiennes Pelham Clinton, 2nd Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyme was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1747.
