    Inscribed on paper support ‘WILLIAM DANIEL CONYBEARE Dean of Llandaff: Geologist.’ lower centre and pencilled ‘F.R.S. Elected 1819’ lower left.

    William Daniel Conybeare (1787-1857) was a British geologist, palaeontologist and clergyman, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1819.
