    Description
    Head and shoulders portrait of John Cutler in three-quarter profile to the right as viewed. He wears periwig, doublet and lace cravat. Oval in a rectangular frame.

    Inscribed ‘SIR JOHN CUTLER. From the original in Grocers Hall Published by Edward Jeffrey Pall Mall 1815.’

    Sir John Cutler (ca.1608-1693) was a British merchant, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1664 and he was on the Council in 1673.
