Inscribed ‘SIR ANTHONY CARLISLE, F.R.S. President of the Royal College of Surgeons’ with facsimile signature and ‘1804 Sir Anthony Carlisle FRS’ on paper support.
Sir Anthony Carlisle was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1804.
