Inscribed ‘Engrav’d by Josh. Baker. WILLIAM DERHAM, D.D. F.R.S.’ and pencilled ‘1762’
William Derham (1657-1735) was a British clergyman, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1703, he was on the council between 1709 and 1717.
