    Head and shoulders portrait of Sylvester Douglas in three-quarter profile to the right as viewed. He wears double-breasted coat with high-collared shirt and cravat.

    Inscribed ‘The late Right Honorable LORD GLENBERVIE. ENGRAVED BY C.S.TAYLOR. FROM AN ORIGINAL PAINTING BY ADAM BUCK. London Published for the New European Magazine John Letts Junr. 32 Cornhill. 1st July. 1823.’ Pencilled ‘el 1795’.

    Portrait of Sylvester Douglas, Baron Glenbervie (1743-1823) was a British lawyer he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1795.
