    Zoological studies of two fishes: the Allis shad Alosa alosa (here styled Clupea alosa) and the Twaite shad Alosa fallax (here styled Clupea finta), both migratory between seawater and freshwater in the United Kingdom. Side views of each fish with water behind and in the foreground.
