Description
Engraving after a full-length statue of Galileo Galilei at the University of Pisa. Galileo is shown seated holding a sphere and a diagram of the heliocentric model of the solar system. He is wearing long robes and gestures with his hands as if delivering a lecture on his astronomical observations.
