Description
Landscape showing the church in Ootacamund, the modern town of Udagamandalam (sometimes abbreviated to Ooty) in the Nilgirri Mountains of the state of Tamil Nadu, southern India. In the nineteenth century, the settlement was a popular hill station.
The image shows a green mountainous landscape in the centre of which stands a church encircled by a white fence and roads. In the foreground stand 3 people in white clothing. The drawing style is fairly simplistic coloured with greens, browns, white and blues.
