Adrian Frank Posnette (1914-2004), British plant pathologist, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1971.
Geoffrey Emett Blackman (1903-1980), British agricultural scientist, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1959. He served as Vice President from 1966-1968.
