Bust of Woronzow Greig with head turned to the rights as viewed. In classical style with draped shoulders, he wears an open collared shirt.
Inscribed on the back ‘Susan D. Durant. 1866.’
Woronzow Greig (ca.1805-1865) was a British barrister, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1833. He was the son of Mary Somerville, stepson of William Somerville (FRS 1817) and Grandson of Samuel Greig (FRS 1792).
