Description
Half-length portrait of Samuel Garth in a long wig and satin jacket. His body is seen in profile, turned to the left, but his head is turned back so it is almost facing the viewer. Mezzotint after an oil painting by Godfrey Kneller now in the National Portrait Gallery collection.
