    Inscribed ‘Published 1924 by the Museum Galleries, 53, Shorts Gardens, London, W.C. Copyright’ top centre and signed by the artist lower rights. Embossed logo ‘KGLN’ [?] lower right.

    Sir William Herschel (1738-1822) was a British astronomer, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1781.
