    Head and shoulders portrait of Thomas Hill in three-quarter profile to the left as viewed. He wears buttoned coat and a cap. In an oval laurel garland.

    Inscribed ‘AETATIS SVAE TH 28.’ Pencilled ‘Thos Hill Poet. 1725.’

    Thomas Hill (ca.1683-1758) British poet, elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1725.
