    Inscribed ‘Righ. Rev Bishop Horsley FRS’ and pencilled ‘1767’ lower left.

    Samuel Horsley (1733-1806) British clergyman, elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1767, he served on the Council from 1773-1778.
