Three-quarter length portrait of Edward Jenner casually posed leaning on a tree with a rural vignette in the background. He wears double-breasted dress coat, cravat and breeches, and holds a top hat in his left hand.
Inscribed in pencil on paper support ‘Dr. Jenner. 1789.’
