Description
Differently shaped glass vessels for Theodore Haak's experiments of frost separating parts of coloured water (coloured with cochineal) or mixed with other liquids. This paper was read to the Royal Society on 30 December 1663.
Compared to the original paper (Cl.P/4i/9/002), the figure of glass bottle is integrated into the text, is modelled three-dimensionally and casts a shadow.

Object history
At the meeting of the Royal Society on 30 December 1663, ‘Mr. Haak’s account of his experiments of frost’s separating the parts of coloured water, was read, and ordered to be registered’ (Birch 1:362). Text and figures are printed at Birch 1:362-64.
