Simple pen sketch of Richard Gough in profile within an oval frame. He wears a wide-brimmed hat and a high shirt collar. The portrait is accompanied by a reproduction of Gough’s signature and a coat of arms.

Richard Gough (1735-1809), British antiquary, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1775.
