    Description
The small ink drawing is stuck to the page and was most likely taken out of the original letter to Henry Oldenburg, dated 25 April 1667 by Nathaniel Fairfax (1637-1690). Fairfax described the dissection of one Margaret Girling of Rumborough, whose thorax was filled with a liquor like cream in a membraneous bag that occupied half of the thorax.
