    Diagrams described as 'Iconismus pro tetragonismo D. Ioannis Aymon', which are copied from Gaspar Schott, Technica curiosa, 2 vols (1664), II, 599, plate 1. They were part of the papers sent by Jean Aymon, which contained a mathematical theory for the quadrature of the circle with the hope of squaring a crescent shape. The letter was read to the Royal Society on 14 October 1702.
