    Diagrams relating to Renatus Franciscus Slusius’s proposed solutions, in a letter to Henry Oldenburg dated 25 July 1670, to problems discussed in Isaac Barrow’s Lectiones opticae (1669, pp. 40, 52). Slusius asked his demonstration to be sent on to John Collins, who in turn sent it to Barrow, who sent it to Isaac Newton.
