    Description
John Flamsteed's observation of the transit of Mars, communicated in a letter to Henry Oldenburg dated 27 July 1672. It was printed in John Flamsteed, 'Some astronomical observations in part already made, partly to be made', Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, vol. 7, no. 86 (August 1672), pp. 5034-42 (p. 5042).

It appears that this is the original scheme by Flamsteed included with his letter of 27 July 1672 to Oldenburg, and then glued into the Letter Book.
