    Description
In his letter to Henry Oldenburg dated 23 June 1673, Heinrich Sivers (1626-1691) reported his observation of an intermittent star [Mira] in Cetus from 1647 to September 1672. He used the engraved plate no. 37 (signed by G. Gerardi) from Stanis?aw Lubieniecki, Theatrum cometicum (1666-67) to insert his own observations to 14 February 1667. This is the sheet that originally accompanied Sivers's letter and was transferred to the Letter Book.
