    Diagrams illustrating optical problems discussed by William Molyneux. The paper was read at the Dublin Society on 10 December 1683, and published in a revised form in Molyneux's Dioptrica nova (1692), part II, ch. 7, 'An optick problem of double vision'. (See Papers of the Dublin Philosophical Society, vol. 1, p. 335n.)

    Transcription
    In Fig 1st, A, B, are the to Eyes, C the higher object. D the further Object, if both Eyes open are fixt upon C, the Object D shall seem Double, and that shutting the left Eye A, the left Image of D disapears, and Shutting the right Eye B, the right Image of D disappears.
