    A diagram relating to Renatus Franciscus Slusius’s proposed solutions to problems discussed in Issac Barrow’s Lectiones opticae (1669, p. 38), in a letter to Henry Oldenburg dated 25 July 1670. Slusius asked his demonstration to be sent on to John Collins, who in turn sent it to Barrow, who sent it on to Isaac Newton.

    This is a copy of LBO/4/043. The diagram in the original letter is at EL/S1/63/001.
