This is the engraved illustration for Guido Grandi, ‘Florum Geometricorum Manipulus Regiae Societati Exhibitus’, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, vol. 32, no. 378 (July and August 1723), pp. 355-71. Grandi was a Camaldolese monk and professor of mathematics at the University of Pisa.
