    Description
    A figure by Silas Taylor (1624-1678) showing how to calculate heights. Taylor was a parliamentary army officer with an antiquarian interest in the history of Herefordshire and music. He was actively involved in the activities of the early Royal Society but was never elected Fellow of the Royal Society.
