Object history
At the meeting of the Royal Society on 21 January 1669, ‘Dr. Croune brought in his hypothesis of motion, which was read, and ordered to be registered, and to be compared by those members, who were formerly nominated for that purpose, with the other theories already given in’ (Birch 2:340).
