Description
This machine, called 'wasserkunst', or water art, is developed to pump up water and distribute it through the canal 'T'.
The drawing contains a signature saying that W.S. has invented this. [W.S. inv.]

Diese Waserkunst kan zugleich her ein Trunk- und Zugwerck gebraucht und TRANSMUTIRT werden... ab ein Truckwerck sayn soll so gehet die Trunckstayn in der kurzen Gülßen F. undt winket das waßer durch das VENTIL e, so unten absonderlich mit K bezeichnet, in die Steighülsen G, beij g. und r. aus, oder so ab.... haben soll, beij p. und q. aus da es aber ein Zugwerck seijn soll, so umß der Tigel 1 an dir gebstange b. und d. unten fast zumacht werden, alß dann habet sich das waßer in M. aus, und zwar nicht hoch, aber aus einmahl mehr alß 1/4 Tannt Waßers heraus: Das VENTIL K. oder e. aber muß im Zugwerck beschloßen und nicht offen seijn.
