Description
Drawing in 'An account of a landslide at Clogher' by St George Ashe, the Bishop of Clogher. The letter was read at the meeting of the Royal Society on 16 April 1713.
Object history
16 April 1713, 'A letter was read, communicated by the Bp of Clogher, dated April 7, 1713, from Mr Joseph Story. In this was contained a very particular Account of the moving Mountain mentioned in the Minutes March 19 1712/3. This was accompanied with a sketch of the Mountain and of the broken or moving Part. The Letter was ordered to be entered in the Letter Book' (JBO/11/348).
