    The legend is translated in Hall & Hall, Correspondence of Henry Oldenburg, vol. 13, 63:
    A. cock.
    B. spring which acts upon the balance wheel at the point D, and by the other end, which is stronger, is fixed at point E.
    F. movable piece through which the spring passes to advance or retard the watch by means of the screw G
