    Diagrams described as 'Iconismus pro tetragonismo D. Ioannis Aymon', which are copied from Gaspar Schott, Technica curiosa (1664), vol. 2, p. 599, plate 1. They were part of the papers sent by Jean Aymon, which contained a mathematical theory for the quadrature of the circle with the hope of squaring a crescent shape. The letter was read to the Royal Society on 14 October 1702.
