Figure of the solar eclipse (1 June 1676) observed by John Flamsteed, with Edmond Halley and Viscount Brouncker, using Richard Towneley's micrometer. Figure is from a letter by Flamsteed to Henry Oldenburg dated 10 July 1676. The observations were printed in Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, vol. 11, no. 127 (1676).
