Description
These figures are part of Francis Jessop's comments on John Wallis's theory of tides, which had been printed in Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, vol. 1, no. 16 (1666). The figures were enclosed in a letter sent to Martin Lister dated 25 June 1673.
