Description
Three etched images. The original drawings can be found in Letter Book 15 (LBO/15/273). The printed images are cut out from the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, vol. 32, no. 373 (1723). Leeuwenhoek had the images drawn for him.
Engraved by J. Sturt (signature on copper plate), on the same plate as the images of the sheep foetus (EL/L4/79/007).
