    Figure in a letter from Henry Oldenburg to John Cruzado dated 3 February 1676. This letter conveys John Flamsteed's demonstration, using this diagram, that solar refractions are not greater than the lunar refractions at the same altitude. John Cruzado was the Professor of Mathematics and Chief Captain of the Casa de la Contratacion of Seville.
