Object history
At the meeting of the Royal Society on 21 November 1666, ‘Mr. Hooke’s account of inclining pendulums was read, and order’d to be register’d’ (Birch 2:126). This account and reference to the figure, but not the figure itself, are printed in Birch 2:126-27.
