Description
Botanical study of greater stitch-wort (Gramen leuchanthemum). Signed ‘Ric: Waller pinx[it]’ (Richard Waller painted this). Unlike on his other drawings, Waller did not record the reference to John Ray’s Synopsis Methodica Stirpium Britannicarum (London, 1690), though this plant is listed at p. 146, no. 1.
