    H. Sloane, 'Two plants from the Cape of Good Hope', Phil. Trans., vol. 17, no. 198 (1693), pp. 664-67. This plant (brought back by 'Mr Goddard') was given to the Royal Society by Alderman Charles Chamberlain, who also gave other exotica to the Society.
