    Object history
    Martin Lister worked hard to gather the illustrations for Francis WIllughby's posthumously published work, Historia piscium (1686). This is not the same as the 'Acus minor Bellonij' shown in Tab. P2, fig.5, though the inscription at the back suggests that it might have been intended for Plate I 15.
