A figure of a frame to stretch a parchment. John Beale described the process of making parchment, which was read to the meeting of the Royal Society on 25 May 1664 and was ordered to be registered (RBO/3/035-039).
This manuscript is a copy of Register Book no. 2 (RBO/2i) and some letters to the Royal Society, all from between 1662 and 1664.
