Diagrams relating to David Gregory's comments on the shapes of domes and arches.

The reverse is marked with the number 50 with a square [David Gregory's numbering of his papers].
The top paragraph: Mr Hook shewed the same motions in two pendulums befor Dr Wallis did the Motion of the sea from the Moon. Lord Brouncker, Dr Ward & Sr C: Wren laughted at Mr Hook when he said that he suspected Gravity twoards the Earth is the cause of the moon not going in a streight line. Mr Newton pursued the motion of the planets first on supposition of one equal gravity, but afterwards wrote to Mr Hook Asking what he suspected the Law of Gravity to be.
