    Description
Engraving of Christ carrying the cross included in a manuscript entitled Philosophia Universalis Pertineis a Gabrielem Colleno Logicum (1694). This print was printed in Paris by Nicholas Langlois but does not contain an artist's signature. Below the image is the text 'Agnus dei qui tollis peccata mundi miserere nobis' (Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, have mercy on us).

This is a student notebook of Gabriel Collenno, recording the undergraduate course in logic, as taken at the University of Paris. Student notebooks of the time often include printed plates and hand-drawn images as illustrations, sometimes related, sometimes unrelated to the material.
