Description
Spherical triangles alongside notes by Abraham Sharp on the cover of a letter to him from John Flamsteed dated 31 March 1702.
Abraham Sharp (1653-1742) was Flamsteed's assistant in 1684, and also in 1688-91. From 1694, he ran a family estate at Little Horton, near Bradford (see Correspondence of Flamsteed, ed. by Forbes et al., vol. 3, p. 968).
