Description
Ornithological study of the Varied sittella (Daphoenositta chrysoptera) a bird native to Australia. Shown perched on a tree stump with details of wooden planks, plants and fungi.

John Latham (1740-1837) British surgeon and naturalist, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1775.
