    Description
    Entomological studies of insects and spiders arranged around a centrally placed damselfly. Eighteen insects are shown, with six spiders and harvestmen. The former include two other damselflies, a dragonfly, a wasp and a large beetle, probably the Cockchafer Melolontha melolontha (lower right).
